It was a great pleasure to have our President, Ken and Account Executive Jennifer in attendance at the Annual Redbone @ Large Greater Niagara BassEye Celebrity Challenge. We’re proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation alongside our partners at Rich Products and everyone else in attendance. The event was a success, raising almost $140,000 and everyone, including Captain Morgan, had a blast!
A big thank you to our valued customers who came out and enjoyed an incredible win on Friday night in Bandit-Land. The First Niagara Center was about as live as I’ve ever seen it and the game was a nail biter to the end. A few of our guests in the suite had never been to a professional lacrosse game before and really didn’t know what to expect. Needless to say, by the end of the game the Bandits announcer had everyone cheering right along with the crowd, my personal favorite being, “what does he got…NOTHING!!” After a hard fought game of back and forth scoring, the Bandits finished the game with 15 goals to the Toronto Rock’s 12. Just before the end of the game there was one hell of a brawl on the field which left us all wondering about what was in store for their game in Toronto the very next night.
Long story short, everyone had a great time and we thank the NLL for being so accommodating and the Buffalo Bandits for putting on such an amazing show. We look forward to watching the rest of the games from our regular season-ticket seats…Buffalo WHAT!?
A big thank you goes out to everyone who was able to make it to the party last night. Encore turned out to be a great venue and everyone in attendance had fun. It’s always nice to get together with coworkers, partners and customers outside of the typical, day to day work functions.
Congratulations to the winner of the 40” LED TV Door Prize, Brad Saunders from Steuben Foods!
I may show my age a little here, but I have been through a lot of tech changes in my business and recreational life. When I was going to college, computer programming classes were still using keypunch cards as the primary medium for input of both computer programs and data. I would listen to music on my drives in to college on my 8-track tape player. I would plan trips to Toronto to purchase record albums not easily found in Buffalo. My first sales position relied heavily on the fax machine to receive purchase orders and to send out credit applications. Almost all marketing materials were sent through the mail. I remember buying a word processor and then purchasing my first computer, an IBM 286, around this time for personal use. Continue reading
